Sr Nthabiseng Manaka
Sr Nthabiseng Manaka is a passionate and experienced veterinary nurse who qualified in 2016. She began her career at a specialist centre in Pretoria before joining the busy team at Bryanston Veterinary Hospital (BVH) in Johannesburg, where she truly honed her nursing skills and developed a deep dedication to patient care.
Her commitment to excellence led her to an academic role at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, where she served as a nurse, teacher, and mentor. Known for her high standards and nurturing spirit, she was fondly remembered by students for her guiding motto: “Clean as you go!”
After six years in academia, Nthabiseng briefly explored the corporate world but soon realized her heart belonged to hands-on patient care. She returned to BVH, where she continues to thrive in doing what she loves most—providing exceptional care and compassion to her patients.
Outside the clinic, Nthabiseng is a proud mother to two children, Lethabo and Lesedi—whose names beautifully mean “happiness” and “light.” She is also a devoted dog mom to Keisha, Aba, Bobby, and Stompie. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and experimenting with new recipes.
Everyday Motto: “For life itself is a blessing.”
