Dr Chris Collie
Dr Chris earned his BVSc degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Science at Onderstepoort in June 1993. His journey commenced as a small animal veterinarian in Southend, Essex, UK, from November 1993 to June 1995, followed by some travelling and then a relocation to Farnham, Surrey, where he continued to contribute to the veterinary profession until August 2000.
In September 2000, Chris brought his extensive experience and passion to Bryanston Veterinary Hospital, marking the beginning of a significant chapter in his career. His commitment to continuous learning and professional development is evidenced by his pursuit of his BVSc Hons, with a focus on small animal medicine and ophthalmology, which he completed in 2003.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Chris finds fulfilment in his roles as a husband and father to three beautiful children. Together with his family, they share their home with two dogs, two cats, numerous fish, and even four chickens. Chris’s diverse interests extend to a love for travelling, wildlife, photography, and embracing the beauty of the outdoors. This well-rounded approach to life reflects not only his dedication to veterinary care but also his appreciation for the joys of family and the wonders of the world around him.
